Kevin Bambrough Receives Honourary Chieftainship and Chief's Headdress from the Blood Tribe

Sprott Resource Corp. and One Earth Farms Congratulate Mr. Bambrough after Receiving Honour

TORONTO, July 18, 2011 /CNW/ - Sprott Resource Corp. (TSX: SCP) - Sprott Resource Corp. ("SRC") and One Earth Farms Corp. ("One Earth Farms") extend their congratulations to Kevin Bambrough, C.E.O. of SRC and founding Director of One Earth Farms, in recognition of the honour bestowed upon him by the Blood Tribe, or Kainai Nation, on July 16, 2011. The Blood Tribe, a valued partner of One Earth Farms, recognized Mr. Bambrough with the granting of an Honorary Chieftainship in the Blood Tribe and bestowed upon him a traditional Chief's headdress.

Speaking on behalf of the Blood Tribe, Chief Charles Weaselhead stated, "The granting of this honour is in recognition of the efforts of Kevin Bambrough in the founding of One Earth Farms and his sincere efforts to engage Canada's First Nations peoples in a pursuing genuine partnerships in agriculture, which have created increased employment, revenues for First Nations, and the environmental sustainability of our lands. The granting of an honorary Chief's headdress cements the relationship of trust and friendship between the Blood Tribe and One Earth Farms and we hope for continued success as we move forward together."

The Blood Tribe, Canada's largest First Nation located in southern Alberta, is part of the Blackfoot Confederacy. The current boundaries incorporate nearly 550 square miles in southern Alberta and support a population base of more than 10,000. Following a series of consultations with the leaders of the Blood Tribe, One Earth Farms was invited to share its vision for the growth of their agricultural and ranching lands as a means to generate a solid economic base for the current Blood Tribe members, as well as for future generations.

Speaking on behalf of One Earth Farms, President and C.E.O. Larry Ruud stated, "The Blood Tribe is one of our key partners. In 2010, the Blood Tribe transferred a tee-pee to One Earth Farms which is their highest cultural honour and we continue to be grateful for their shared vision in building a premiere agricultural business.
